ISO 45001: Employee health and safety policy

ECT Ltd., recognizing the importance of OHS protection for achieving sustainable development, has developed and implemented an OHS Management System in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 45001:2018. The OHS System covers all of the company’s activities.

To this end, the company is committed to:

Establishing, implementing and maintaining an OHS policy that:

1. includes a commitment to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health and is appropriate to the purpose, size and context of the Organization and to the specific nature of its OHS hazards and opportunities,
2. provides a framework for setting OHS objectives,
3. includes a commitment to satisfy legal and other requirements
4. includes a commitment to eliminate hazards and reduce OHS risks
5. includes a commitment to continual improvement of the OHS management system
6. includes a commitment to consultation and participation of workers, and, where they exist, workers’ representatives.

The OHS policy:

• is available as documented information,
• is communicated within the Organization and
• must be available to interested parties, when required and
• be relevant and appropriate.
